Tthe first unofficial GTA Reference Handbook was on the GTA Ideas Page, it was the definitive reference for mission.ini coding, and it was original, there was nothing else like it in the scene. Many people contributed to the handbook and Mendel always gave them credit. The site hasn't been worked on in over 4 years and it has constantly been maintained. Mendel has been very helpful in getting this site up. I originally contacted him just to get permission to use his idea and in 6 days this site was up and running. He has been very easy to deal with and I give him a lot of credit for helping me get this site up.

The original structure of the handbook was created by Mendel although it follows a standardized layout derived from Unix/Linux man pages which are manuals and documentation that Unix/Linux programmers include with their programs, for more on man pages take a look at THE LINUX MAN-PAGE-HOWTO.
