Welcome to the Unofficial Grand Theft Auto III Reference Handbook! If you've been around awhile and you moded GTA you'll remember the GTA Ideas Page run by Michael Mendelsohn and home of the Unofficial Grand Theft Auto Reference Handbook which had anything and everything on GTA file formats and mission.ini coding. After seeing the explosion of GTA3 moding information all over the web I decided to carry on the handbook to a new generation of GTA moders.

Mendel has been kind enough to provide the space for this handbook on his site. For more on the history of the handbook and its structure visit the about page.
